Becki is actively involved in her church where she is a catechist, a Eucharistic Minister and a member of the Mercy Meals Program.  Becki hopes to use her customer service and teaching skills in a positive way to help the Ironclad Division grow over the next few years. Becki has two children, one of whom is currently active in the Sea Cadets as a Chief Petty Officer.

Warrant Officer Philip Winslett, USNSCC

Commanding Officer

Warrant Officer Winslett is also an Equipment Operator, Chief Petty Officer in the U.S. Navy.  His naval career began with Active Duty service almost 22 years ago.  His current billet is with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 28, although he drills as a reservist at the NOSC [Navy Operational Support Center] in Columbus, GA.  

  

Chief Winslett officially began working with the Naval Sea Cadet Corps after returning from Iraq in 2004. He originally worked with the Alabama Division in Bessemer, AL as the Training Officer.  About 2 years later, he transferred, as Executive Officer, to the Wiregrass Division in Coffee Springs, AL to be closer to home.  In January, 2008, he took the helm as Commanding Officer of the Ironclad Division in Columbus, GA.

Chief Winslett has received the following qualifications/awards:  Seabee Combat Warfare Qualification; Submarine Qualification; Purple Heart; Navy & Marine Corp Achievement Medal; Meritorious Unit Commendation; Battle "E" (3); Good Conduct Medal; Naval Reserve Meritorious Service Medal; National Defense Service; Global War on Terrorism Service Medal (with Marine Corps appurtenance); Sea Service Deployment Armed Forces Reserve Medal (with Mobilization and 10 year service appurtenances; Expert Rifle; Expert Pistol. 

His civilian employment is with the U.S. Department of Agriculture.  He also officiates high school football and baseball and is very active in the local community.

 INST Lee Bohan, USNSCC

Executive Officer

Lee Bohan joined the Sea Cadet program as an Instructor in September, 2006 with the Warrior Division in Douglasville, GA.  After two months with Warrior, he decided to transfer to the Ironclad Division in Columbus, GA.  Lee is a true believer in the US Navy Sea Cadet motto, "It's for the Cadets!" and hopes to help the Cadets in his unit find strength, courage and pride in themselves.

  

Lee has been employed by Delta Airlines for over 28 years and owns his own company, Atlanta Premier Goaltending where he teaches private lessons and group clinics to ice and roller hockey goalies.  Lee has been President and Trustee for Peachtree City Hockey Association and is currently the Facility Coordinator.  Lee plays goalie on three (3) roller hockey teams and one(1) ice hockey team.  He is a coach for high school and recreation roller hockey and is also a referee for the sport.

Becki Bohan joined the Sea Cadet program as an Instructor with the Warrior Division in September, 2006.  She decided to move to Ironclad to help re-establish the unit after the Commanding Officer was deployed to Kuwait.  

Becki is a student at Kaplan University working toward her Bachelor of Science-Psychology with an emphasis in Child Development.
