The Columbus Ironclad Division of the US Naval Sea Cadet Corps welcomes you to their unit web site.  Feel free to look at the information and then call us or write us with questions or if you are interested in joining the Sea Cadets.

We train at the Navy Operational Support Center in Columbus, GA, which is in front of the Civic Center on Victory Drive (beside Golden Park). To attend an Orientation, please contact CO LTJG Allred @ commandingofficer@ironcladdivision.com.  Since the NOSC is a military facility with controlled access, you should let us know ahead of time you will be visiting so we can ensure you are granted access.  We look forward to hearing from you soon and hope you become the newest member of the Columbus Ironclad Division. National Recruiting Incentive-National Headquarters program includes a benefit for referring/recruiting 3 cadets into the program.  After your 3 referrals are enrolled, your will receive a certificate for one paid training (can be a value of up to $240).

Benefits

Depending on the rate achieved in the Naval Sea Cadets, former cadets may be eligible to enlist in the armed forces at an advanced pay grade.  Being a member honorably discharged from the Corps is looked upon favorably by selection boards for military academies and ROTC programs.  Also those cadets who are accepted to a four-year university may be eligible for scholarships.  The Naval Sea Cadet Corps provides its cadets the opportunity to develop their leadership skills, build their character and become productive citizens.
